Lianren Digital Health Snares ￥50M in Funding

China Pacific Insurance Company ("CPIC") has invested 500 million yuan in health care technology company Lianren Digital Health. Lianren Digital Health is the first big data firm in healthcare in China which is led by the state-own enterprise, with participation from the local government, several financial institutions, and digital health enterprises. The headquarter of Lianren Digital Health was officially inaugurated on April 8 at Shanghai Zhangjiang Artificial Intelligence Island.

Lianren Digital Health is a big data service provider of healthcare. Its business mainly covers three major sectors, including "big data in healthcare", "E-Healthcare" and "Healthcare Industrial Park". The company provides a variety of digital services of public health, insurance, precision medicine and Internet hospitals through medical big data, its market operation data platform, and software. The establishment of Lianren Digital Health will further take advantage of its strength in smart healthcare and help the development of the "5G + healthcare" industry in China.

In the future, Lianren Digital Health will integrate industrial resources, build state-level big data infrastructure, and jointly explore and promote the formation of new models of healthcare services through the cooperation with state-level platforms, authoritative medical institutions, and industrial partners.

The life insurance branch of CPIC will focus on big data in healthcare, Internet Plus Healthcare and other fields, and cooperate with Lianren Digital Health. CPIC will also make efforts to improve its service in insurance innovation, technology application, and others, to meet various needs of customers. 

CPIC is also known as Pacific Insurance, is a Chinese insurance company. It was established on the basis of the former China Pacific Insurance Corporation, which was founded in 1991 approved by the People's Bank of China. Its headquarters is in Shanghai. It provides integrated insurance services, including life insurance, property insurance and reinsurance, through its subsidiaries.
