Laurus Labs on Monday opened its new R&D facility at IKP Knowledge Park near Hyderabad.The company has invested Rs 250 crore on the R&D centre which will be supporting the contract drug manufacturing organisation (CDMO) business of Laurus Labs.The 2,00,000 square foot facility equipped with modern laboratories and infrastructure will provide job opportunities to over 800 people, the company said.“This will be our 5th R&D center..we believe that this facility will enable us to develop ground breaking solutions that will address unmet medical needs,” Satyanarayana Chava, founder & CEO of Laurus Labs said.Laurus with revenues of Rs 6041 crore in FY24.
