CareSpan Health (TSXV:CSPN:CA) Monday announced that on February 29, it closed a transaction for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately $1 million, involving the sale of the company's 15% minority equity interest in CareSpan Asia, a Philippines based company, and exchange of certain software rights.

The net proceeds from the transaction will be used to focus and further build out the company's offerings in the U.S. market and for general business and working capital purposes.
