Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health has shared plans to acquire Piedmont Family Practice in Warrenton, Va. The two parties have completed a purchase sale agreement and expect the transaction to be complete this summer, according to a UVA Health May 7 news release.The practice comprises 90 employees, including seven physicians, 17 advanced practice providers, a registered dietitian, and a certified diabetic educator.
