Fourier Intelligence Received A Few Million Dollars In Series B Financing

According to VCBeat, rehabilitation robot company Fourier Intelligence just received a few million dollars in Series B financing, this round of financing was led by Guozhong Venture Capital and followed by IDG Capital and Volcanics Venture. The funds will be used for R&D for the rehabilitation robot and production lines build ups.

Fourier Intelligence was founded in 2015. In 2016, Fourier Intelligence introduced the first upper limb rehabilitation robot based on force feedback technology "Fourier M2". After that, Fourier Intelligence has launched a variety of products such as lower extremity exoskeleton robots, ankle rehabilitation robots, and intelligent electric training vehicles.

At the EXOPS conference in early 2019, Fourier Intelligence announced its own intelligent robot design. In a rehabilitation hospital, dozens of rehabilitation robots work together to provide different training methods for different patients. The entire rehabilitation center only needs a small number of therapists to meet the needs of dozens of patients at the same time.

The main service groups of Fourier Intelligence include two categories, one is the people who are dysfunctional due to illness or accident, and the other is the elderly group. The goal of Fourier Intelligence is to get rehabilitation robots into hundreds of thousands of hospitals and tens of millions of patients' homes, improving the efficiency of medical services and the quality of life of patients.

At present, Fourier Intelligence is trying to expand its business around the world, it has already established a subsidiary in Singapore, and has obtained certificates for its robots from FDA(USA), CE(EU), CFDA(China) and TGA(Australia). The company plans to expand to all these areas.
