Ewell Technology Acquires 18% equity of Yijie Medical in A Deal Worth ￥54M

According to PEdaily.cn, Ewell Technology has announced the acquirement of 18% equity of Hangzhou Yijie Medical Device Co., Ltd. ("Yijie Medical") from Ningbo Huirui Investment in a deal worth 54 million yuan. Upon completion of the transfer, Ewell will hold an 18% stake in Yijie Medical.

This acquisition is based on the goal to accelerate Ewell Technology's layout in the field of the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) and the implementation of the IoMT traceability management project. 

The IoMT traceability management project is one of the 2018 non-public stock offering investment projects of Ewell Technology, based on RFID technology and an open platform of IoMT. The project uses the IoMT technology to realize automatic identification, positioning, monitoring and management of medical cleaning supplies. It provides the hospital with closed-loop management services.

Yijie Medical is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the development and production of smart medical equipment. The intelligent management recovery vehicle for bedding and clothing and other products of Yijie Medical can provide hardware support for the IoMT traceability management project.
