Standard Medical Secures ￥10M in Strategic Financing, To Provide Closed-Loop Hypertension Management

Founded in 2009, Standard Medical focuses on the prevention and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Its two major pipelines are the tilt table test system and the chronic disease management system of hypertension. The tilt table test system focuses on a specific group of patients with syncope, to check the veins. It has a stable customer base, which, according to Standard Medical, now accounts for more than 90 percent of the market. The chronic disease management system faces to the hypertension patient group, with remarkable customer growth, which is the major product of Standard Medical.

Standard Medical rearranged the R (Route) of medical resources through "ABCD", which called "ABCD+R". That is, they use Internet technologies such as A (Artificial Intelligence), B (Block Chain), C (Cloud), D (Big Data) and other technologies, to serve hypertensive patients with various needs.

Guo Shuying, the chairman of Standard Medical, predicts that with the increasing application of the chronic disease management system of hypertension in third-class hospitals, the expansion and maturity of regional medical alliance, the development of new services, and the growth of market, this industry will enter into a period of rapid growth. It is estimated that in the next five years, the direct industrial scale will reach the magnitude of 10 billion.

According to Xiao Min, the CEO of Standard Medical, by the end of 2019, the company had installed the system in nearly 100 top hospitals, serving 300,000 patients with chronic hypertension and accumulating more than 10 million diagnosis and treatment records. At present, they can only provide such basic services as dynamic blood pressure measurement, dynamic blood pressure diagnosis report, dynamic blood pressure monitoring and regional hypertension data analysis, but the revenue has reached tens of millions of yuan.
