According to 36Kr.com, digital dental company Yesalign has closed its angel round financing of millions of yuan from Ningbo Meishan Bonded Port Zone Zhuode Investment Management Co., Ltd. ("Zhuode Investment"). Proceeds from this round will be used for the marketing of Yesalign's products.

Yesalign is mainly focused on the orthodontic treatment for invisible teeth straightening and dental implants. Based on self-developed 3D printers with an accuracy of 0.02mm, Yesalign provides invisible orthodontic products for the upstream of the industrial chain or users by the "Direct-to-Customer (DTC) Model".

On the one hand, the DTC Model provides a better user experience. In general, the orthotic is replaced every two weeks and the treatment course lasts for several years. Customers should go to the hospital regularly to replace the orthotic. The DTC model optimizes the traditional consulting process, preventing the customers from the annoyance of running around in a crowded hospital and reducing the time cost. On the other hand, the DTC model can solve the problem of a severe shortage of orthodontists in China.
