According to 36Kr.com, Goldnurse, an online platform of nursing services, has closed its Series A+ round of tens of millions yuan, which is mainly funded by the company’s new partners. Proceeds from this fund will mainly be used for service upgrading and business expansion, so as to fully implement the service model of "Internet + medical care and nursing". Previously, Goldnurse completed the Series A funding round in 2019 from Chengtong Real Estate.
Goldnurse is a company providing Online-Merge-Offline (OMO) services of "Internet + nursing", aiming to solve the increasingly prominent contradiction between the supply and demand of home care in China, including the increasing numbers of incapacity/semi-incapacity of the elderly due to the aging of the population, and discharged patients from the hospital to strengthen the turnover rate of beds, who are difficult to get high-quality care.
Up to now, Goldnurse has an online platform of on-demand health services from nurses-- Goldnurse APP, and a care chain in Beijing -- the Meixin Nursing Services Station, thus formatting a business model of online and offline interaction.
At present, Goldnurse has been directly cooperating with hospitals to build a SaaS platform of nursing services and provide after-hospital home care services for discharged patients. In addition, the company has established expert nursing studios of different departments, and worked with the upstream supply chain to provide corresponding consumables, so as to realize the closed-loop of nursing services.
Ding Shaolei, co-founder and CEO of Goldnurse, said, "The company has found an effective way through cooperation with the hospital and achieved big growth in many aspects." The platform has connected with more than 400 cities, over 180,000 registered nurses, more than 300 medical and nursing institutions, providing services for about 5 million customers.
