Edge Medical Raises ￥10M in Series A+ Funding Round

According to VCBeat, Edge Medical Robotics Co., Ltd. ("Edge Medical"), the developer of intelligent surgery system, has closed its Series A+ financing of tens of millions yuan, led by Legend Star and Poly Capital, with participation from 3H Health. Wang Jianchen, the founder of Edge Medical, said proceeds from this round will be mainly used for clinical trials of the company's surgical robots.

Edge Medical is expected to launch clinical trials within this year, and become the second firm of single-port surgical robots to enter the clinical stage in global. At the same time, Edge Medical will expand pipelines and build a modern production line of high-end surgical robots to meet the production needs of the first phase of the company's products. In addition, the company will also improve the product process, and explore telemedicine, simulation training, and other extensibility projects.
