Zdeer Closes ￥10M Series A Funding Round

According to PEdaily.cn, Zdeer, a technology company specializing in smart consumer healthcare, announced that it had recently completed Series A financing of tens of millions with exclusive participation from Tiantu Capital. Proceeds from the latest round will be mainly used for product research and development, and marketing.

Founded in December 2014, Zdeer is an innovative company focusing on smart health and wellness. It is committed to catching up with the trend that young consumers pay more and more attention to health by upgrading traditional health products with science and technology and constantly launching cost-effective smart health products.

Zdeer's intelligent moxibustion box is one of the core products of the company. It was launched in September 2018 after more than a year of development. Its second-generation product was crowdfunded by 10 million in a platform of Xiaomi in 2019. The launch of this product redefines the traditional moxibustion, and makes moxibustion convenient in multiple scenes, with advantages of smokeless, anti-hot, smart control, and so on.

"Many people may mistakenly think that the customers of Zdeer are middle-aged and elderly, but in fact, the users are mainly women over the age of 20, especially between 20 and 35," Zhu Jiangtao, the founder and general manager of Zdeer, said. Zdeer put forward a new way of keeping in good health and developed different moxibustion products particularly for insomnia, loss of hair, neck, shoulder, waist pain, menstrual cramps, body cold, and postpartum recovery, such as smokeless moxibustion box, smart intelligent fomentation belts, smart fumigation instruments, etc., which are welcomed by young people.

Founded in 2002, Tiantu Capital is one of the earliest professional institutions engaged in equity investment in China. The company focuses on investment in the field of consumer goods, including innovative consumption, new retail, and consumer finance.
