HeartVoice Completes ￥10M Pre-A Funding Round

According to VCBeat, Anhui HeartVoice Medical Technology Co., Ltd. ("HeartVoice") completed the Pre-A round financing of tens of millions, jointly led by Zhongxin Zihe and Xinwen Capital, with participation from Faragat, a business incubator. The funds raised will be used for the R&D and upgrade of chips and cloud service, brand building and marketing.

HeartVoice is a med-tech company dedicated to improving human heart health with artificial intelligence (AI). It was founded by a doctoral team from China University of Science and Technology, Peking University, Huawei and other first-class universities and enterprises. The company applies deep learning and other new-generation AI technologies to the field of automated ECG analysis and diagnosis, and independently develops the internationally leading Cardio-Learn® ECG analysis algorithm.

In addition to excellent performance in small size and filtering effect, the chip captured ECG developed by HeartVoice has a very low power consumption, which is less than 10% of the chips generally used by manufacturers currently, providing a guarantee for the battery life.

The Cardio-Learn® ECG analysis algorithm based on the deep neural network has been trained through the clinical ECG data of millions of cases in first-class hospitals at grade 3. It can support the analysis of 43 types of ECG abnormalities, covering 97.5% of the clinical ECG diagnosis conclusions with an accuracy of over 95%. It only takes two seconds to obtain the ECG analysis report which can be used as a reference for clinical decision.

HeartVoice hopes that through the application of AI in ECG, especially the data services for primary diagnosis and treatment, it can make a large "data resource pool" and then provide the heart health data support for the society.

HeartVoice also launched a smart household product—the portable AI-based ECG device, which is the size of a piece of gum and can diagnose 18 types of arrhythmia diseases, and realize the collection and automatic analysis of ECG at home.
