XpectVision Technology Snags ￥150M in A New Round Financing

According to PEdaily.cn, recently, Shenzhen XpectVision Technology Co., Ltd. ("XpectVision Technology"), a medical imaging equipment company based on the world's leading semiconductor technology, completed a ￥150M funding round, led by Jianxing Medical Fund under the management of CCB International with participation from Septwolves Venture Capital. Prior to this, XpectVision Technology has received investment from CCI Investment, IDG, Northern Light Venture Capital, CAS Investment and other investors in several rounds.

Cao Peiyan, the founder of XpectVision Technology, said that proceeds from the latest round will be used for the production base construction and mass production of the photon-counting mammography device, intraoral imaging system and other products, and orderly promote the development of synchrotron radiation detector, DSA, CT and other photon-counting products.

Unlike most other digital mammography systems, the indigenous detector technology used in XpectVision Technology's mammography system takes advantage of X-ray quantum with high contrast-resolution while at a low radiation dose.
