Yizhen Intelligence Closes $15M Series A1 Funding Round

According to 36Kr.com, AI healthcare company Yizhen Medical Consulting Co., Ltd ("Yizhen Intelligence") has recently completed the Series A1 financing of US$15 million, with participation from VI Ventures, Mingye Venture Capital and individual investor Yang Guoan. Mushi Capital served as the exclusive financial adviser of this round.

Based on the cloud platform, Yizhen Intelligence uses AI technology to collect clinical data for the convenience of users, including recording, analysis, and collection of a vast amount of patients' data and combine it with users' charts to generate consultation that is scientifically standardized, greatly simplifying the workflow.

With the development of telemedicine, Yizhen Intelligence has gradually formed a business model combining online with offline, mainly online at present.

The core product of Yizhen Intelligence is the multi-specialty integrated AI-assisted diagnosis and treatment system, which currently covers 12 major specialties of internal medicine. Based on the achievements of science and technology, Yi Diagnostic has analyzed a large number of medical record data and massive medical literature during the cooperation with top doctors. It has taken 14 years to develop a complete map of medical knowledge and a core algorithm for processing it.

Yizhen Intelligence has designed special systems for doctors, patients, nurses, and the management team. In addition to its flagship auxiliary treatment service, Yizhen Intelligence also launched a by-product – the AI-powered medical education platform to build a "virtual hospital" for trainee doctors to practice their skills. The number of medical records generated on the platform can reach several hundred million to one billion, which can help train grass-roots doctors and improve the quality of medical treatment.
