NuboMed Secures ￥100M in Series B Financing

(VCBeat) Feb. 2, 2021 -- Shenzhen Nuobo Medical Technology Co., Ltd. ("NuboMed"), a leading provider of integrated software and hardware solutions for smart hospitals based on the Internet of Things (IoT), today announced the closing of a Series B funding round worth hundreds of millions. The latest round was led by SAIF Partners, with participation from Shenzhen High-tech Investment Group, D.T. Lake Equity Investment, and Jiufeite Investment. CEC Capital acted as the exclusive financial advisor in this transaction.

Proceeds from the transaction will be used to upgrade existing products and develop new product lines, introduce high-tech R&D talents, expand domestic and overseas markets and improve the sales network.

Founded in 2012, through the IoT technologies, intelligent sensor technology and its core algorithm, NuboMed provides hospitals with integrated management solutions for intelligent hospital IoT and overall medication and consumables management platform including software and hardware that covers the full process from the suppliers to the patients. With those solutions as the entry point, NuboMed will continue to develop products and enrich product lines for other scenarios, such as smart wards, smart operating rooms and build an IoT-based smart hospital platform.

NuboMed's IoT-based smart hospital platform is based on the device center and the closed-loop data platform of the hospital. It develops a series of intelligent hardware to collect the hospital clinical and management data in real time. The software in the system is used to optimize the processes of all departments and processes inside and outside the hospital, therefore getting through the data flow and building a unified data platform that seamlessly integrates with the existing information system of the hospital.
