Changmugu Completed Tens of Millions of Yuan Pre-A Round Financing

According to 36Kr, Changmugu, an AI product developer in orthopedics, has received tens of millions of yuan in Pre-A round financing, led by Legend Star, followed by Frees Fund and Wanhui Capital. This round of financing will be mainly used to expand the AI orthopedic product line, promote the application of clinical registration certificate and accelerate the clinical implementation of AI products.

Founded in 2017, Changmugu focuses on orthopedic artificial intelligence, providing a series of artificial intelligence solutions for the whole process of orthopedic surgery, including preoperative evaluation, surgical planning, 3D printing, and customized surgical navigation guiding. In November 2019, Changmugu got tens of millions of yuan in seed round financing, led by Frees Fund.

Changmugu independently developed the fourth generation of its 3D surgical solution for joint replacement surgery, based on artificial intelligence deep learning. It integrates methods such as surgical simulation algorithm, image algorithm, deep learning algorithm in computer to realize 3D precise preoperative planning, including the visualization, standardization, and automation of orthopedic surgery. 

In addition, combined with the surgical navigation guide of 3D printing, the customized plan can be accurately implemented in the surgical process to improve the precision and safety of joint replacement surgery, with strong repeatability, and effectively reduce the incidence of postoperative complications.
