Saints&Sages Snares $1.4M in Pre-A Round of Financing, Focusing on the Development of Minimally Invasive Equipment

According to yigoonet.com, Saints&Sages announced that it has completed tens of millions of yuan (US$1.4 million) Pre-A round of financing, led by Northern Light Venture Capital with participation from Longpan Biomedical Venture Capital. Proceeds of this financing will mainly be used for product research and development, clinical research and manufacturing. 

Previously, Saints&Sages completed tens of millions of yuan angel round financing in 2018, led by Volcanics Venture with participation from Highlight Capital.

Saints&Sages provides minimally invasive surgery (MIS) solutions in gastrointestinal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, gynecology, urology, glandular surgery, thoracic surgery, and other departments. At present, SanAgile (SA01), the first product of Saints&Sages, has been successfully entered into the clinical stage. The feedback shows that the key indicators such as intraoperative fluency, coagulation effect and intraoperative smoke evacuation are comparable to the mainstream products. SA02 will enter the type testing stage at the end of 2019. Other products, such as the Futura advanced energy platform, are under development.
