Sunny Dental Snares ￥100M in Series A Financing

According to Yiou.com, Sunny Dental, a high-end dental chain brand, has officially announced the completion of its series A financing of several hundred million yuan (US$14 million), co-led by Qiming Venture Partners and River Head Capital. Proceeds of this financing will be mainly used to accelerate the expansion of the dental chains, strengthen the chain management system and brand promotion.

Sunny Dental provides professional orthodontics, implants, prosthetics, children's oral cavity, dental pulp, periodontal, and oral and maxillofacial surgery service. It has 18 oral outpatient departments with a total outpatient area of 18,000 square meters, and 1 stomatological hospital, covering Beijing, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Xiamen, Guangzhou and other important cities. In addition, the team of Sunny Dental is composed of more than 100 physicians holding master's and doctor's degree of stomatology of famous universities.

Speaking of this financing, Zhou Yanheng, founder and chairman of Sunny Dental, said that tooth correction is a treatment process with technical skills, and the country is also advocating the general use of technology, so a lot of medical talents from universities and public hospitals set up medical institutions with capital.
