SonmolTech Bags over ￥10M in Strategic Financing

According to 36Kr.com, SonmolTech (formerly named "Asthma Manager"), a company engaged in the field of chronic disease diagnosis and treatment, has raised tens of millions in a round of strategic financing from AptarGroup, a packaging solution provider in the medical and consumer industries. Previously, SonmolTech had got investments from Bluerun Ventures, Anlong Investment, and other institutions in two rounds.

Proceeds from the latest round will be used to commercialize and market SonmolTech's core product – the management system of diagnosis and treatment, and establish deeper cooperation with hospitals and develop a new business model, as well as build its team.

SonmolTech is committed to perfecting the process of diagnosis, treatment, and the prognosis of respiratory diseases using modern digital tools. On one hand, it has built artificial intelligence disease models by collecting and analyzing pathology information, which can be used to assist the diagnosis process of asthma and COPD. On the other hand, the company has built a platform for remote follow-up visits and disease management of chronic diseases by integrating patients' data in and out hospitals through mobile applications and Wechat micro-apps. 

In the meantime, SonmolTech also provides online tools for hierarchical diagnosis and treatment between third-grade class-A hospitals and primary level hospitals, helping to perform a specialized medical treatment alliance.
