Tuge Medical Snags ￥50M in Series A Financing

According to VCBeat, Nanjing Tuge Medical Technology Co., LTD. ("Tuge Medical") recently announced a Series A financing of 50 million yuan, led by Shanghai Alliance Investment, with participation from Nanjing Innovation Capital Group, Nanjing Qilin Industrial Investment, and the existing shareholder Xinliuyu Venture Capital. Proceeds from the latest round will be mainly used for product line expansion and marketing.

Tuge Medical is an innovation-driven company focusing on minimally invasive surgery field. Its main products include the 4K endoscope system, digital operating room integration system, medical display products, etc. Tuge Medical is engaged in image processing. Based on a first-class research and development team with an understanding of clinical needs, the company independently develops its own products to provide ultra HD images and overall solutions for minimally invasive surgeries.

Tuge Medical was established in February 2018. Its main product, AIendo-4K Ultra HD endoscope system, is the first 4K ultra HD endoscope system that is fully independently developed in line with the new standards of endoscope in 2019 in China. At present, more than 60 patents are related to this series of products. 

For surgery operation and consultation teaching, Tuge Medical provides two series of products, including 4K Ultra HD endoscope system and TurbOR operating room integration system, with the image processing algorithm as the core, combining with hardware and embedded software, to provide comprehensive and professional medical imaging system solutions. Those products can improve the precision in surgeries and the efficiency of diagnosis and treatment.

In addition, Tuge also launched the 4K surgical demonstration and teaching system. Combined with the real-time coding module and 5G module, the product provides surgical broadcast, teaching, recording and sharing services with fast and stable connection for minimally invasive surgery, which can give hospitals an ideal plan for minimally invasive surgical education
